[T3] Re/ Replacing Starter...

It turns out that starter number 055-991-023 B is, first of all, so far unfindable on line...except for info here about it being for Jetta and whatnot.

But, though it really looks like it would fit, and probably would work fine in a T-III, unfortunately it's about the Mounting Bolt Arrangement.  One ally said it has to do with difference between water-cooled, and oil-air cooled.  The solenoid is in the wrong place for a T III.    It just can't fit.
