If they don't spring back the spring is at the bottom, the very bottom, the
almost impossible to get at bottom, and then you need to get another good
one to replace it with...
Been there done that, get a new one if possible.

the switch out, opened it up, see if I could fix it, these days I'd be
very happy for a "buy it here" or "i'll sell you one." ;)
ISP West is the only ones doing new switch assemblies for the early (up to
67) cars. Try them at
