Just watching this thread and was wondering is it possible to have it
dyed? I know that on older GM products the plastic interior panels came
in only one color a shade of blue I think and you had to have them died
to the color of your interior. I had to have one done in a tan for a 77
Chevy I once owned.

Replacement beading is better than nothing, but nothing beats the
original. The original stuff is colored all the way thru. If you end
up replacing it, paint it before you install it.

To reuse the original beading, don't try to roll it up. Store it
either flat or let the short leg rest on something while the long leg
hangs down with gravity. Reinstall on a warm day, but remove it on a
cool day and keep it cool until reinstalling. Don't let it thermal
cycle.
