[T3] Tire failure?

In extremely cold weather, the rubber bead of the tire can get so hard that
it 
stops sealing against the rim. For this reason, people in northern Canada,
in 
places like Churchil, on Hudson Bay, always put tubes in their tires. That's

for temps of -40 and below, so I doubt that is what happened to you.

Then winter I had Piglet (67 Fasty of Shawns) it was 28 below one morning,
after the astounding fact that I actually got it started and warmed up, the
tires were flat spotted for the first mile or so... bouncing the car up and
down... couldn't believe that after going thru all that I couldn't drive
it... but they did round out again after a mile or so.
