Yes, brakes can gradually apply themselves if the compensation port in the
master cylinder is blocked.

LOL. Shoot, at this point, if you guys told me it was the brakes, I'd
probably check that too. I need to get this thing on the road! I'm trying to
think what's left on the electrical/ignition side of things that hasn't been
checked; distributor? voltage regulator? Those kind of seem like long shots.
But yeah, for the first time, today it felt like a fuel issue.
