Not sure, but I had good bit of sidewall cracking on 10 year old Khomos and the tread on one was about to separate.  Only way I caught this before making a trip was a friend asking about which tires where going to be replaced.  Still a bit shook up that I had not had it separate on the previous drive, or that I drive it again; it would not have had good results being on the front.

When I replaced the Khomos, the tire installer said Khomos are way better than Nexan, so...  Do not think they are as good as the 25 year old Michelin ZXZ I have as a spare: it has no cracking.
