[T3] steering column coupling disc

Never had one of these go out on a VW myself but I did on a late 60s Ford
pick-up a few years ago. They have a very similar set up but don't know if
you could get it to work. I know the one I got at my local part store and it
had cloth reinforcement in it. Could be something to look into.

Actually the cloth reinforced (like OE) is preferred. Unfortunately, nobody 
 offers them anymore. The urethane or rubber only are actually a bad idea, 
as  if/when it breaks, you lose ALL steering. :O If you old one is an OE 
type, I'd  be tempted to leave it alone (unless Dave Hall knows where we can

get the  correct OE type).
