I think you could replace the outer roller bearing without taking
everything apart. That bearing has a removable race unlike the inner
ball bearing, so you should be able to pull it without taking everything
apart.

CV's will come off by removing the 12 bolts. Like Mike said, don't use
a hex wrench. There's a special 12 point tool for it and you'll ruin
the bolt heads if you don't use it. I saw one at Napa.

If you replace the inner bearing everything must come apart. There's no
way to do it without removing the stub axle. Also there's a snap ring
on inside of the inner bearing, make sure you remove it before pressing
out the bearing. If you go that route, I'd get 2 rear wheel seal kits
plus 2 extra grease seals. The kits only come with one seal and there's
2 per side. The axles are tough to get off, I used a block of wood and
big hammer approach. I just went through taking it all apart, it's a
big job!
