Keith don't look. For everyone else, here's some pics of my wide 5 disc
conversion of my T-34.

I finally received my 4 lug disc spindles that I had to modify to accept
the wide 5 conversion. To do this, you basically cut off the ears (caliper
mount) of the spindles, and with the locating spacer I used, locate your
holes, and drill and tap them. Once that's done, the spindles are basically
ready to mount on the car. In my case I had to re-use the original steering
arm, as the "new" spindles came with a larger hole in them for a later car,
but everything else "bolted" up. I've still got to plumb them, but the
mechanical part is done. Yes, this is a "bolt in conversion". Also, while I was
in there, I dropped it a spline. ;^) Russ and I had a conversation back
over a year ago, and even he thought the nose sat up too much. :O So I felt it
could come down without a problem. : )
It looks like I've got enough room to go with wide 5, 5 spoke rims up front
now. And since the rears (currently on the car) are 6 inch bug offset
Thing rims, I can even use them on the rear. Hmm.
