Yes there is. We commonly have 87 and 89, but then we can have either 91 or
93 depending on brand. I'll use either 91 or 93, it doesn't seem to matter,
but I do not check fuel mileage for every tank either.
I have never tried 87 or 89, but some do with good results; but you want to
make sure your VW does not ping with the lesser octane. That is BAD!
