I found one that looks right with this part number:
0331302032

Any idea what that is for or is there a cross??

Thanks

Keith

For a late 12 V MT, it looks like the number is 31 073, but 31 072
will probably also work, and there may be others.

I think later starters got shorter, so they would need shorter
solenoids to match up with the pigtail into the starter. That would
mean that you need a solenoid to match your starter, which might not
be the same one you would get if you bought one for the year of your
car.

If you give me the Bosch # off your starter I can give you the
correct Bosch # for the matching solenoid.

Problems while hot may not go away with replacing the solenoid, but
they might. I've had to let my car cool off once, in many years, and
then it was fine again. This was on an AT car. A relay next to the
battery should make a significant improvement in the loop resistance,
as well as take a big load off the ign sw..
