Well, Jim, you may call your Golf Wagon a Jetta, but in Germany they still
call it a Variant - so even if the pressure gets too much, you can take a
little comfort in that.

Looking at various temperature averages, June doesn't look too bad at all.
Is it likely to be unpleasantly hot?   Looked like 70F - 80F maybe, and
fairly dry?

I can't really talk, as I shan't be able to bring my Type 3 Variant anyway,
but I think it would be a shame if you can't bring yours.

I'll surely be in Manitou Springs next summer. The only question is 
whether I'll drive a Type 3 or not. If I bring my wife, I expect 
there to be some pressure to bring the (air conditioned) Jetta.
