[T3] Valve Covers

I had a similar problem a few months back and now am leak-free at my covers.  I first tried some non-permanent gasket sealant between the cork gasket and the cover but that didn't work.  So, the fix was to pull the bail wire off the head and use some heavy pliers and vise grips to tighten a few of its bends to give it a tighter grip on the cover.  
If you don't know how to get them off, they just hook into two holes on either side of the head.  I popped my cover off so that the wire was loose then used a flathead screwdriver to pry the hook end of one side of the wire out of it's hole and carefully pulled it down and around to work the other side out.  They're very stiff wire and it's difficult to bend them (and you obviously don't want to deform them) but I was able to kind of 'spring' the the two shorter arms inward and I tightened the small hooks that fit into the head and that seemed to do the trick.

I found that if the covers still slip around on the heads then they're not tight enough to not leak.
