Thanks, but I was actually looking for the clearance between the teeth and
the bore in the housing, I wasn't too clear about that.

I should add that you can get the clearance down to zero with a belt
sander or a piece of plate glass with some wet/dry sandpaper on it.
Do it with the gears in place, and the gears will stop the process
once you reach zero. Try to keep things square.
