Okay, so that's what happens. It's possible that I could still fix 
yours, using 12 V parts. I'm not sure because I've never seen the 
insides of a 6 V one. I'd be happy to try, or I have lots of good  
used 12 V clocks here. $20 as is or $50 rebuilt, plus shipping.
