[T3] bench testing engine

The wire from solenoid to starter motor goes through a grommet in the motor
housing to one of the motor brushes. That might be missing/shorting.

If your car's got the cold start wire to the solenoid, is the other end
properly fitted - or you could simply remove from the solenoid to be sure.

Subject: [T3] bench testing engine

i will try to limit myself to one question per day. todays question is why
the starter is shorting out the battery when i try to start it. i watched a
video on youtube any my electrical connections look ok and the trans is
grounded to the body and the trans is 12volt case so i cant see where the
problem is. any thoughts before i destroy another battery?? thanks kk
