Its not the age, Ive driven mine MUCH farther than that, its what you've
DONE to rebuild and recondition it. IF you have gone thru everything you
know its right, just make sure you put some miles on it before then to catch
anything you missed...

Heck, my engine had over 130K mi on it when I crossed Kansas last summer
when it was 110F in the shade!

Cool? Wing windows do great until your over 100F or so, but LOTS of Ice tea
for me! John has his diet Mt Dew... Marilyn had a trunkload of bottled
water (probably the best choice) I don't remember Dave or Jim's Elixr of
survival across the desert. These cars can be made to move air pretty well
inside.

Well first thanks I will consider doing the doors that way but the way our
body class is doing this it took them 2 months to get the hood, fenders, and
deck lid done. They have had the doors for a month and a half so those
should be done in about 2 or 3 weeks and they really haven't started on the
quarters so we just have to take them as they come. Second I will make every
effort to be there but I'm still a little scared to take a 41 by then 42
year old car 916.12 miles according to map quest but I'm thinking about it.
How dose everybody keep cool in these cars in the summer? I weighed 90 lbs
less last time I drove it in the summer LOL (I know I need to lose a few by
looking at the video). I guess we will see how it comes along in the next
year or so.
