Otherwise, this is a good time for each of us to be thinking about
what we need to do to get our Type 3s ready for spring, and Colorado
Springs!

I've been in contact with the Springs Inn in Colorado Springs.  And with
Jim A's help during the summer of 2011, I believe my '69 Squareback may be
able to make the journey.

IF we "get our ducks lined up", we may either drive our motor home and
trailer our '69 Squareback ... or ... join the caravan with our Variant, as
it travels west from Wisconsin.

Because of my handicap, trying to make 500+ miles on each of the two-day
drives (according to Jim A's estimate) to Colorado Springs, it may not be
"do-able" for us, in the non-air condition VW.

Question:
Have there been any plans suggested or made, for the ("not-so-interested"
in our Type 3 passion), spouses?  I would be more encouraged to attend the
Invasion, if there were some events for our spouses, while we talk T3's.
And Bev would be more excited to attend, IF she knew there would be events
for wives.   ????  Anybody wish to weigh in?
