Speaking of Caravan, I'm hoping to get something together in another month
or so. We'll have to see how this lines up for all of us.

I'm vitally interested in a route that you may propose.

I'm in Lake Geneva (Southern Wisconsin) just a few miles north of the
Illinois border and near I-43. But my '69 T3 is stored in an airplane
hanger in the Madison area. I may have to go to Madison to "prep" it, take
it out of storage & retrieve it ... or pick it up on a car trailer, to make
the trip to Colorado Springs. Truth be known, I'd prefer to drive it.

I'm still undecided as to:
A. Attending the Invasion (health issues),
B. Driving my '69 Variant to Colorado Springs with the caravan,
C. Putting the '69 T3 on a trailer and pulling it behind our '38
     foot, motor home to Colorado Springs
.
The motor home/trailer has several advantages.
1.  Air conditioned comfort during the drive;
2.  Having my '69 at the Invasion for local transportation;
2.  Less "wear 'n tear" on the '69;
3. A (possible) emergency car hauler should one of the other caravan
members have a "serious" breakdown. I could off-load my car; & load the
"disabled" vehicle.
4. The Invasion Host Motel has already made provisions for my motor home,
if I attend.
