[T3] East to West; West to East

It's all to do with the way the Earth rotates.  Things in the West are
already moving East at 1,000 mph.  Obviously it takes less energy to move
then East than West.  ;-)

So does that mean if I could run at 1,000 mph, essentially my car would be
standing still as the earth rotates underneath me?  [?]  :-)
