OK, I posted them.
This was my 73 as I parted it out, I think it drove its very last possible
mile!

I searched for the one that a UK member was rebuilding that had no sills
(rockers) left, but it was a while ago, and must be deep in the archives.

That's not rust.... I gotta post a pix of my 73 when it "Expired"
Let me see if I can find that and post it on the Samba.

:-)

Keith

  If you
want to see real rust, look at the UK forum workshop
http://www.vwtype3and4club.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=6588 at one of
our UK Type 3s, but there are problems in many areas in the USA too, mostly
due to salt on roads. You must have that locally - Keith from Albany NY
doesn't drive his Type 3s in winter because of it.

Most of the posts are on topic, and relate to Type 3s. The delete button is
there for any you don't want to read. Others may find them interesting and
informative. We're a friendly lot on here - no insults as are found on some
other groups.

Hallo, I also have a 66 Fastback and joined your type 3 org., but since then
I am flooded with your conversation. Sorry, but how can I stop that??I am
located in Upstate New York!!Is there anybody out there in that region??
I have a rust problem with my still original Fenders, right on top where the
tip goes to the window!!
I even found one " sponge " on each fender up there in that corner where the
rust is!!
Did anybody repair that or has anybody good solid fenders for 66??
White/cream color??
Thanks folks.
RegardsMax
