I guess my email last night didn't make the list yesterday.  Figured it
wouldn't since I attached pics but I thought I would try.  Here are a few
other options for local sites to see that are less touristy.  ;) Calhan
Paint Mines is one of our favorites, its close to the house, free and a neat
experience.  Plus you wouldn't expect it to be out in the plains like it is.
Looks like nothing is out there and then you come across the park.  Google
images has some good pics of the Calhan Paint Mines.
Fox Run regional park is a nice area and has a few good picture
opportunities.  I am trying to see if there is any interest in doing the BBQ
that Max had planned there.  But it may be too late to reserve any space
there.  Plus Roller Coaster Road is a nice drive to the park.
Red Rock Canyon is another good trail system right in town. Its got some
good scenery and is fairly close to Garden of the Gods.
