I think they're universal 1600 heads - they allow for most of the variations
on Type 1 and 3 anyway, so can be used either side.

Didn't noticed the cam plug as well but if it don't hurt anything I dang
sure aint splitting the case again.  My guy that done all my machine work
and got most of my engine parts (Ed's Foreign Cars) got me those heads. They
only came with the spot for the PCV as a solid boss and the temp sensor
boss.  He drilled out the solid bosses then threaded the holes and screwed
those brass fittings in for the vent hoses. I'm quite pleased how he made
them turned out. Ed really knows his stuff.
