Nice writeup, but you forgot to mention that the second vacuum line 
leads to a RETARD, and that the test for this is to verify that the 
timing JUMPS from retarded to advanced as soon as you start to open 
the throttle.

Yes, this is a '72 only "feature" for FI Type 3s, but other carbed 
years got it in markets where carbed models were sold.
