Hmmm, yes, you're right. It slopes the wrong way, but the interesting 
thing to me is that the brush spring reaches MUCH farther than the 
ones I'm seeing here. Since it reaches all the way across the brush 
and just contacts at the far corner, that combination should work 
just fine.

That makes me wonder if I should try to buy new brush springs, of the 
correct number.
