I have good used ones here, if you're interested, but I doubt if this 
is ever going to be important.

OTOH, I still haven't thought to take a good look at the ones I have 
here yet.

If there's something flaking off, could you just ScotchBrite it, 
remove all the loose stuff, and be done with it?
