You cut the seal lip off on the inside to get it out, you can NOT get them out without breaking them
and save the seal.  With the new seal, which is a problem in itself, make sure you get one with the 7/8" lip if your keeping the trim.  some, Many, have rubber that will crack apart in no time, a few seem to hold up.
It takes skill to install them, best to find a glass man to do it, as they often break one before they get one in sucessfully.  if the OEM ones has no clams on the edge and no damage to the glass at least it will fit better than the aftermarket ones as some of them just dont fit.  One thing to remember, when you install them, you put the top lip in first, then rope in the bottom.
