The Beetles in Brazil were run on mainly ethanol around 50 years ago, and
probably ever since, made from fermentation of sugar cane, I think.

Subject: [T3] Corn Fuel and Type III engines...

Hi there
There are many threads in the Porsche 356 Registry, (you don't have to join
to read these), about this. In summary, it ain't good.
There is an app for finding "pure gas" in all states and provinces. It's
called, oddly, "Pure Gas."
Also, there are several classic car groups that track legislative actions on
this, state by state, (there is no federal mandate here), and some lobby for
classic, (flat tappet), interests, including the elimination of this
agribusiness monopoly, with many more worldwide negative impacts than merely
our little world of classic cars. You also have "representation," more or
less, so call them. Don't just write...call. It's E-25 in Brazil.
Best regards,
FE Meek
