I called around about a puller, but by the time I had described to the kid
behind the counter what a "Wide 5" IS, well... it didn't sound like anything
they'd have.  I bolted one of the bend rims I bought one and got behind it
with a 15 food breaker bar... Woh Nelley!  STILL didn't come loose!

KROIL was a thought, but I don't want to get any on the brake linings...
never seen a penetrating oil break loose something that I could get RED HOT
and not free up, but then again... I don't think Ive ever had that happen
too.  Ill have to see if the old VW shop we have has a puller for a wide 5.

What Bob said...and KROIL, (the only penetrating oil that actually works),
and rent a puller.  It appears that you did not try this.  They work.
