Since you're in brush research mode here, I wonder if you might be able to provide Bosch part numbers for the 6V T3 brushes?  It seems like most of the interwebs claim that T1 brushes work, but my T3 parts book gives a VW part number of 311 903 515, so I'm skeptical.
