I especially like the picture of the kids getting ready to lift the motor
in! Always a great moment when the engine goes back into them!

Me too. We have been working on getting the wires where they need to go
today. Going to have to chase a few electrical gremlins look like. We had
most of the wiring set up after transplanting the harness from the parts
car. Some things got bumped around from taping off parts of the harness so
not to exposed them before the paint. Just needs a little grunt work with a
DVOM. I think both of the volt regulators from this car and the parts car
are toast. I've seen a lot of commits on this here about that so I'm a
little concerned on what we can get for a replacement as far as anything
that works good. May just see what my FLAPS can get. One other thing.
What does most of everybody do with the old diagnoses plug in the engine
compartment on the late models? We haven't hook up some of the wires to it
yet since the transplant. Do cut we it out? If so what do you look out for
on that? Or should I just hook up the remaining wires and leave it along?
One good thing today. I plug the ECU in for a minute while we had the jump
box hooked up to it (still got to get a battery) turn the switch on and I
heard the relay click in the back seat area then the one by the fuse box so
I guess that is still working.
