[T3] distributor drive gear

as i mentioned earlier, i had to set TDC for #3 in order to insert the drive gear correctly, ie with the small inset half toward the front at what looks to be 60degrees. the problem is the vacumn can is at 2 oclock and is hitting the fuel pump so the timing mark is at about 10 oclock and i cant rotate the distributor anymore.  i also noted the rotor isnt directly under the contacts in the cap but is about in the middle between the two. help!!   kk
