[T3] Proper draining of water and doors?

I thought they  were actual oval holes, about 1 cm x 1/2 cm, rather 
than gaps between the  skins.

It's been a long time since I've looked at mine. They probably  need 
some attention.
 
They're actually more of a slotted shape, but they're formed kind of like  
Dave mentioned. I guess I should have taken some pics while I was in there  
last week.
But Dave's also right, in that there's a small gap in the corners too.
