I recently bought a set of pan halves from Gerson directly.  I wouldn't worry about them shipping from Colombia.  Mine shipped out on December 21st and arrived here in Seattle on the 26th.  They're not cheap, though.  After shipping, it was $650 for the set.  Still, considering that the NC guy wants $345 per side before shipping, I'd order directly from Gerson.
