The first one I bought was actually too large to fit inside 1" npt 
pipe, so be careful. If you can take a piece of pipe with you (or use 
a piece that's there) to make sure it fits, that would be good.

I had one where the threads were so tight that this "deluxe" style 
actually split the "nut" and broke the breather stand, so be careful. 
I wish I'd used a little heat instead of a lot more force, but I 
don't really know if that would have helped.

Some of these are easy, some are hard.
