No, I didn't go out and buy a pair of Dells for the 2056 but Today was the
day to get the car and Trailer inspected,
So in the 90 degree hot sun upon leaving work I heard some clicks from under
the dashboard and looked down as the fuel pressure gauge to see
It taking a dive.

No fuel pump relay!

So I quickly popped the wires off can connected them and was on my way.

Got home, and to make a long story short. found that the ground side of the
fuel pump relay solenoid wasn't sourcing ground properly (the Control unit
contact)
With the plug unplugged I got the 1 second of 12V across the terminals like
I should but when plugged in and requiring current, nothing between the 2, I
had 12V but the control unit couldn't pull the ground down for the 1 second
pulse when the key was turned on.

Put the spare brain on and Walla! Everything works! Even put the old one
back to make sure it was still bad and it was. this is the FIRST bad Control
unit Ive ever had
On any of my cars, and other than the fuel pump relay it was still working
fine.. Always carry a spare!

Now lets see if the car and boat can make it to the lake tomorrow in the
heat..

Keith
