Since I want to keep my, one-owner, '69 instrumentation "stock" is
there a neat-and-tidy, non-invasive way to add a tachometer to my
dash?

A simple L-shaped bracket, with the appropriate hole for the
instrument with an under-dash mount?
What wiring needs to be added?  Routed where & how?  Where on the
engine does the instrument pick up the RPM's signal?
