Case-in-point for me: every ~year or so it seems one of the two aluminized
air duct/hoses that connect the heat exchangers to the fan housing (what do
we call those large dia. hoses again?) will suddenly either come loose at
the bottom due to the hose clamp slipping off the heat exchanger, and/or
tear somewhere in the bend. I can detect this slight (maybe ~10-20 deg) temp
difference on my gauge and always grin big when I go back and confirm that
this was indeed the culprit. :D
