It's really best to not use any kind of clamps there. As things warm 
up and cool down, a slip fit there allows things to slide and 
accommodate for the various expansion rates of the different parts.

The important thing is to get all the parts aligned nicely. Don't 
bolt the IAD solidly until all the other parts are in place. I 
generally install the IAD and both air runners loosely at the same 
time, and then tighten all the bolts at the same time. Or you can 
tighten them with the sleeves slipped back on the air runners so that 
you can observe and correct the alignment. Individual air tubes can 
be bent to get the alignment perfect before you slide the hose 
sleeves into place.  

The most common cause of air leaks is improperly aligned parts, which 
force the sleeves to deform and provide a poor seal.

If your old hose sleeves are deformed from a previous poor assembly, 
which is common, go ahead and align everything, install the old 
sleeves and slide them into place. Tighten them down with nylon cable 
ties. Those will be tight enough to do the job and yet flexible 
enough to allow the joints to slip when necessary. After a year, you 
should be able to remove the cable ties and be back to the original 
look.
