Yes I have seen a few posts come through over the years here about this. Do you have an image of what you talking about?

I did find this on the SAMBA  but it says early type 3

Keep in mind that there's a risk to this. There's nothing under there that has much strength, so you're just putting that load on some bit of body sheet metal.
