Too bad you didn't get a better rear quarter. Those should be easy to find
and maybe that's still a better option to consider over the summer. The good
news is that anything from '70 to '73 would be fit, but the '73 ones might
be thinner. I have several here, but finding one locally would be better
than trying to ship one.

Our body instructor suggested the same thing so I could keep my eyes open I
guess

There's not enough demand for anyone to bother tooling up to make Type 3
parts. What you found must have been NOS. Save your old switch; if you don't
want it, I'll take it for parts.

It's probably worth checking the resistances of both temp sensors, both hot
and cold, to make sure that they don't measure something wrong at some
point. In general, they are okay, unless you get a measurement of zero or
infinity.

Yea I was think that too. I may check those as well since the problem
changes with engine temperature.

It's a long shot, but always a possibility when everything else seems to be
eliminated.

Another possibility might be the pressure sensor. I've rebuilt your
distributor, haven't I?

Yes we had to go with a different one since the one I had was in very bad
shape. It had a duel vacuum hose advance but since those are hard to come
by you sold us a rebuilt one from a 73 with a single hose advance.
