I got the needle off the one in the Notch, a 65, but that was 20 years ago
and I don't remember how hard it was but it did come off.

Subject: [T3] Speedo needle?

I've got a speedo here that I need to remove the needle from its
shaft. I've never done this before, although I've tried gently
sometimes in the past. Has anyone else done this successfully?

The needle hub appears to be pressed or glued onto its shaft, and the
shaft is quite small, so I'm afraid I'll break the shaft if I twist
on it too hard. I'd love a hint on how to do this without damaging
anything.

thanks,
