The dewpoints out there generally aren't bad because of the lake, and this
is early enough in June to avoid the major humidity of the summer anyway

Keith, 90's with how much humidity? I would be fine for it to be 100*F and
50 percent for a day or two, after which it makes me hurt. Just be like an
early monsoon season day.

I found the trick with camping in humidity is get out of the tent before the
sun shines on it! ;)

As for sleeping on the ground, that is what a cot is for! ;p I don't have
one, as never had an issue until I couldn't dig a hole. Compromised and
found a wallow that helped. When sleeping on the ground, the hips are an
issue. So, if one can dig a hole for them, then all set!

Bob, is your Father coming? He was an interesting camp site neighbor; don't
mean any harm. Think it be better if there was a couple more people.
