Yea, with the warm atlantic AMO, the Northeast tends to go to the latter end
of first freezes, but usually not this late.  In 5-10 years the AMO will
flip cold again and we'll be back to first frosts in September, so long as
they don't salt the roads I don't care so much but in NY, you don't need
snow or ice to get a salting, just a remote chance at something that could
warrant a "precaution"!

Freeze in Alabama already?  Wow!  We haven't had a freeze or frost at my
house yet, Ive seen 34 but that's the coldest and my Marigolds are still out
there blooming brightly, they do look kinda odd with all the leaves down
around them though....

Well we have had 80 degree weather till now. The leave on the trees were all
green up until this point. We may not have a fall just go straight from
summer to winter LOL. It's usually a couple more week before we have a
freeze like this.
