Upstate isn't nearly as hot as NYC, and the areas around lake Ontario are
usually cooler as well due to the lake, it CAN get hot there but most of the
time its not bad and the Hershey invasion in August was in the low 70's, and
that was in southern PA!

True Keith. We went with our church to NYC back in June of 04 on a mission
trip. We worked in a park in Jamaica Queens with children and we just about
roasted. But I told her this part of New York won't be as hot as NYC.  I'm
sure we were getting a big heat island effect where we was.
