Make sure you don't have any thickness between the oil pump
Cover plate and its body, that will kill your oil pressure.
The recommendation now is Loktite 518 if I remember right, in a thin layer.

Subject: [T3] oil pump

We tackled the leaky oil pump today. Had to add some aviation gasket maker
to the gasket on the plate. Forgot how much junk you have to take off to get
to that. Even with a lift and students to help it a pain. Putting it all
back together tomorrow. Why could this not of happened with my son's bug
instead lol.
