[T3] Brake Hose Bracket, etc.

How the heck can one diagnose a Brake Hose going bad internally?

I mean...if the hose is wet outside, that's at least viewable to a zealous investigator.    But internally?   What are symptoms of INTERNAL hose problems?

Bob, Sue's Fastback's PO should have asked here before needlessly  replacing

Well, this was in the "pre-internet" days (1989). It took me a couple of
days (working by myself armed with a Bentley) to figure out the hoses  were
the real problem, after checking out everything else in the brake  system.
Can't complain too much, as I did get a discount on the sale price of  the
car. ;-) But, it was the first time I ever ran into hoses that went bad
internally. Now I just replace them when I get a car. It's definitely  something I
will always remember. : )
On "domestic" vehicles, you look for cracks on the outside of the hose,  as
that's how they normally go.
