Just one, above the left hand B pillar. Even on RHD Type 3s, the dome
light is on the left.

Yes, plus on the Type 3 Ghias. Bob says this was an option, which I
didn't realize. Early squares also got a special one piece rear door
hinge cover that included a second interior light, but that was gone
long before your '72 was made.

It comes up inside the A pillar, with no inline connectors. It should
come directly from the fuse block. You might be able to see it from
below if you get down under the dash and look up there. I don't
remember how hard it is to see up in that area.
