At idle, you're not charging, so there's nothing to learn there. At 
2k - 3k you should see 14.1 - 14.4 at the battery once everything is 
warmed up and fully charged. (Take it for a drive first.)

Since the battery is somewhat hard to get to, you can make 
approximate measurements at the generator or fusebox. Generator 
voltages will be ~1/2 V higher and fuse box will be ~1/2 V lower.
