[T3] 69 Fastback Critique

Jim, I believe this is a Euro 69, hence the side markers and no round front
indicators, not the first euro 69 to turn up in the Albany market.

It would have been carbbed in 69 if Euro, but I can tell by looking if I go
see it.

Keith

Body may be good, as he claims, but I'd get Keith to look at it. He's
close.

This is a '69 that has been converted to carbs. It may or may not be
well done, and if the engine is "new" it will probably mean that you
get the pleasure of figuring out how to get it properly jetted. Yes,
I'd worry about a "new" engine with no miles on it.

The seats have been replaced with lowbacks and the padded dash is
completely gone. The OG wheels are gone and there's no spare. The F
turn signals are from an earlier car, but the fenders look to be '69,
so there may be some bondo or welded metal in there. The wiper motor
arm has been removed and improperly replaced.

One front bumper overrider is missing and there's no rear bumper at
all.

It's hard to tell from the angle of the photo, but the front looks
raised to me, while the rear looks lowered.

There are just a whole lot of little things here that look like
someone customized this car without really knowing what they were
doing. If you buy this, you should expect to spend a lot of time
sorting out things.
